IBM today appointed channel partners in Lucknow and Kanpur to service such clients. This model has already been tested and put in action as a pilot project on an ‘ongoing basis.’ IBM Vice-President (strategy & business development) South Asia Sanjiv Pande told Business Standard, “We have initially identified three places, Lucknow-Kanpur, Vizag and Jaipur for this model.” Almost 60 per cent of IBM business in the country comes from SMB segment.
