US markets end marginally lower

The US markets had an unspectacular day of trade. Dow Jones closed at 10,426.30, lower by 11.11 points or 0.11%, Nasdaq ended at 2193.14, weaker by 10.64 points or 0.48%, and S&P shut at 1109.8, down 0.52 points or 0.05%. - Oil rises further in Asian trade - US markets close in the green - US market ends firm; MTNL ADR up 3% - US markets ends higher on strong retail news - US markets drop on energy shares - US markets gain on strong data, growth forecast The Indian ADRs ended on a mixed note. On the loser"s side, HDFC shut at $134, down $2.62 points or 1.92%, MTNL ended at $3.31,lower by $0.04 points or 1.19%, and Dr Reddy"s closed at $23.97, down by $0.33 points or 1.36% Infosys ended at $52.05, weaker by $0.52 points or 0.99%, and Satyam closed at $5.15, down $0.05 points or 0.96%. The winners included Tata Motors (stronger by $0.13 points or 0.94% at $13.99), Tata Communications (higher by $0.06 points or 0.38% at $15.99) and Wipro (up $0.10 points or 0.49% at $20.50).
